Pricing

Not many of us like talking about money, however it's best to be clear and straightforward so you know what to expect and what will need paying for outside of the normal monthly figure, with bills being clearly itemized.
The two packages have been worked out to provide the best base care whilst still meeting owners' budgeting preferences.
* All items and services can and are included, where they're necessary for the well-being of the horse, with those that aren't ticked on the table being charged at cost - 'cost' is the price of the item and getting it (if applicable) and time the activity takes (based on minimum hourly rate, in 15 minute blocks).
If viewing on mobiles, please swipe left to see the full table.
Ponies under 12.2hh, so the likes of Shetlands and Welsh Mountain (Section A), have a 20% discount off these prices - it would be more but the fencing etc., for them costs a lot!

Horses see the farrier every 6-8 weeks, with all our horses being barefoot on arrival as a rule and only shod if the farrier and / or vet determines that it's necessary.

We're vet led on a worming programme with wormers only used if necessary.
Whilst the tick list above shows all the things that are included in each package we will of course hold, help and manage everything that's needed, the only difference is what is charged for on top of the monthly fee - some people like all to be included and have a set amount a month, some like that but want to use a different professional or feed (for example), and some like the smaller monthly fee and just pay for things as and when they're needed.

** Of course it's stating the obvious, but of course the horse's needs come first and we'll always do what we need to make sure the horse is well kept and cared for.

Please note: we carry yard insurance, however, just to be clear, our yard insurance covers the horses and yards and third parties, it does not cover vet's fees - all vets fees, other than those stipulated above, are the responsibility of the horse's owner.
